Wallriding in this game can be extremely effective (by using 2 boost charges on tight corners), and can allow you to take turns much faster than you could if you just drove normally.
The Neutral (however I personally find this to be a fairly major criticism): Money is also VERY abundant in this as well, with you getting pre-selected cars, money, and blind boxes (basically lootboxes that you can buy with in-game money) There are 9 "secrets" for you to find (basically complete a specific race event with a specific car) to unlock the 9 hidden events, and they can be fun to figure out. The campaign is basically just an event tree, with you going through each track and playing it through one race and one time attack. The boost system is also interesting, and boost management throughout a race is critical. Even after getting used to it, the handling model still does feel unrefined and very hard to place the car where you want on the track. However once you do get used to it, it's a fairly fun, challenging to drive handling model. The driving physics are your standard brake-to-drift model, however it does require a lot of getting used to.
The base game also contains a decent amount of cars, however quite a few of the cars are locked behind DLC that you need to purchase. The base game contains a lot of interesting environments to race in, as well as nine tracks per environment. With this game, there is a lot to like about it.
